We have accommodations to suit your specific needs.
In addition to monthly rent, additional charges are based on the level of care needed by the resident. These charges are typically referred to as “level of care” fees or “care fees,” and they are assessed to cover the costs associated with providing additional services and support.
The level of care fees can vary depending on the facility and the specific needs of the resident. For example, a resident who requires assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming may be charged a higher level of care fee than a resident who is more independent.
In addition to ADLs, other factors that can influence the level of care fees include medication management, mobility assistance, and cognitive support. Residents with more complex medical needs may also be charged higher fees to cover the costs of specialized care.
It is important to note that level of care fees are typically in addition to the base monthly fee charged by the assisted living facility. Residents and their families should carefully review the fee schedule and ask questions about any additional charges to ensure they understand the costs associated with their care.
